We offer contemporary artists an opportunity to present their work for display in gallery settings. We encourage artists to try new ideas and broaden the perception of hooked fiber art.
Try something different - push the limits!

Contemporary hooked fiber art has evolved from one of America’s few indigenous art forms, traditional rug hooking. The new work explodes with color, form and originality. It is redefining the art form through use of alternative materials such as paper, plastic, linen, cotton, satin, beading, ribbon, yarn, silk and other materials. The emphasis is on creativity and originality. We invite you to visit our Gallery Shows & Past Awards for wonderful examples.

If you’ve been searching for venues to show your contemporary hooked art, submit your work for our 2011 CD and join us in exhibiting your work. Our intent is to promote hooked art and secure exhibits in professional settings.
